Our new album, Affected By Light, is far and away the most personal album for Spirit of the Bear. Two years in the making, from doing our biggest shows to splitting from our label/management, to our singer James being diagnosed with and going through cancer treatment for the nearly the entirety of 2024+2025. This album dives into all of it unapologetically. It’s our most complex and exciting body of work to date, and has something for just about everyone.
